As Bread & Salt Gallery nears its ten-year mark in Logan Heights, we will venture deeper into the histories, works, and motivations of our artists through an ongoing series of books. These are not catalogs of our exhibitions. Rather, these books supplement our gallery exhibitions with additional imagery, interviews and insights that give a more complete picture of our artist’ creative trajectories.

In this first Bread & Salt Press publication, it is our pleasure to engage with bi-national artist Paola Villaseñor, aka PANCA. An artist who has spent equal parts of her life in San Diego and Tijuana, she was an easy choice for us. This book coincides with her second solo show in a three-year span here at Bread & Salt Gallery.
